Fall Event
A Day at the Spearfish Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch
Join us for a day of fun with Type 1 diabetic kids, family, and friends at the Spearfish Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch. This event is FREE for all participants who RSVP by Friday, October 4th. On Saturday, October 5th, you must be able to check in between 10:00 AM and1:00 PM. You will check in at the Diabetes, Incorporated table at the front entrance to receive you free tickets up to 8 people. Kids 3 and under are free. Then, you can stay as long as you would like!

Winter Event
When: TBD February 2025
Time: 9am – 12pm
(be there between 9 and 10 to get wristbands at the door)
Where: Roosevelt Park Ice Arena in Rapid City
This is an event for type 1 diabetic kids and their families. We are limited to the total amount of skaters, so we are asking that only type 1 diabetic kids and their family attend this event. Also, we are asking that only 8 people attend per registration form and per membership.
This is an event to bring families together and support one another and build a type 1 community. We will provide snacks and drinks. To attend we ask that each family become a Diabetes Inc. member and fill out an RSVP form.
Summer Event
When: July 19, 2025 – 9:15 – 11:30
Where: Elks Theatre – 512 6th St, Rapid City, SD 57701
This is an event for kids with T1D and their families. We don’t know what we will be watching yet, but stay posted as the event gets closer. Each person that attends will have their concessions paid for. The registration form will be posted 3-4 weeks before the event. Each member can bring up to 8 total people to the event per registration form.
